Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior (Day) Toolpusher / Tourpusher to oversee rig operations, safety, and crew management aboard a Keppel B Jack-Up Rig operating in the Gulf of Thailand. This role requires a strong leader with extensive offshore experience, capable of ensuring efficient drilling operations and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily drilling and workover operations in accordance with operational plans and safety regulations.
- Manage and oversee the rig crew, including toolpushers, drillers, and other operational staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor drilling parameters and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
- Liaise with onshore offices, clients, and service providers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of operations, safety reports, and equipment status.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolpusher briefs, and promote a safety-first culture among the crew.
- Manage inventory, including drilling fluids, chemicals, and spare parts.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained and operated within specified standards.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ offshore drilling experience, with at least 3 years in a senior toolpusher role.
- Extensive knowledge of drilling equipment, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Valid BOSIET, HUET, and other offshore safety training certifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work in the Gulf of Thailand’s offshore environment on a 28/28 rotation.
- Experience working on Jack-Up rigs is preferred.
